Wax Bottles (Nik-L-Nips)

Contrary to popular belief Wax Bottles official name isn’t Wax Bottles. They’re officially known as Nik-L-Nips, the name comes from the original cost of the candy (a nickel) and the “nip” of the top of the bottle to get to the juice.  But no matter what you call them, they are small wax bottles with a unique flavored syrup on the inside. The Wax Bottles were introduced in the early 20^th century.
